Role:
IT systems and OT systems are increasingly merging, and it is precisely at this interface that you, as a Windows System Engineer, come into play. You take responsibility for the stable operation of server and client landscapes and ensure that users can rely on their technology. Versatility characterises this position: from network technology through virtualisation to cloud solutions, you cover a broad range of topics. Those who love technical challenges and enjoy developing solutions independently will find an environment here with plenty of scope for creativity.
Responsibilities:
You operate, install, and support Windows servers and clients, including access and identity management
You take care of vulnerability and patch management for IT and OT systems
You support specialised hardware in the IT and OT environment, including office and label printers
You advise, design, and operate solutions in the areas of Microsoft Cloud, network technology (Cisco, Ubiquiti, Fortinet), VMware virtualisation, and license management
You evaluate new technologies and overall solutions and obtain offers for these
Additionally, you plan and coordinate internal and external IT projects and provide solution-oriented support, both remotely and on-site
Qualifications:
You have a qualification as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally with a focus on platform development or system technology
You have professional experience in system or application operation or IT support
You are familiar with several of the following areas: Windows client, Windows server, VMware, Fortinet, Cisco, and PowerShell
You are characterised by a structured, independent, and responsible way of working
Technical challenges and complex tasks inspire your enthusiasm
Furthermore, you convince with initiative, interconnected thinking, a strong service orientation, and good German language skills, both spoken and written
