You are looking for a new challenge as a Platform Engineer and have already gained experience at a professional level. In this role, you take responsibility for the development and operation of platforms. You are responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of solutions to meet your stakeholders’ requirements. You contribute your skills and experience to develop innovative solutions and optimise existing processes. You are an important part of the team and help to achieve the goals.
Responsibilities:
You ensure a powerful, secure, and highly available platform for business-critical applications.
You enable development teams to deploy independently through standardised platform services and automated operational processes.
You embed protective measures, regulatory requirements, and meaningful monitoring concepts into daily platform operations.
You coordinate architectural decisions with engineering teams and promote uniform approaches across product boundaries.
You drive the modernisation of infrastructure and further develop solutions for container orchestration, data storage, and asynchronous communication.
Qualifications:
You have a higher education in computer science or comparable knowledge from professional practice.
You are familiar with the structure and administration of complex cloud and container environments and ideally have obtained relevant certifications.
You are experienced with Kubernetes ecosystems, Helm charts, GitOps, and automated build and release processes.
You master declarative infrastructure management, confidential credentials, and monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
You combine technical judgement with team spirit, initiative, and a high standard of information security; you are proficient in German and technical English.
