Love of Swiss Chocolate for 125 years in Fribourg. Our chocolate factory, founded by Wilhelm Kaiser in 1901, is still present in Fribourg. We make our famous Têtes au Choco, our chocolates with liqueur, and also various types of milk chocolates from the region.
To support the different operational teams, we are looking for a
Industrial Management Controller
Your main mission will be to ensure the quality and accuracy of industrial data, to drive the optimisation of profitability and the robustness of the company through excellence in reporting, data exploitation, and analysis as a business partner for the costline aspect.
Your key responsibilities
1. Control of manufacturing orders and material flows - 20% of the role
Verify the compliance and proper execution of industrial manufacturing ordersControl and analyse the flows of raw materials, semi-finished and finished productsIdentify and correct anomalies or inconsistencies in stock movementsEnsure traceability and reliability of production dataDrafting, implementation and control of management procedures on the industrial side
2. Support to business functions (role of "business partner") - 30% of the role
Participate in innovation projects (calculation of the cost price of new products, costing of recommendations or project options, challenge options with marketing and R&D)Analyse, challenge and enrich performance indicatorsProvide numerical analyses to assist operational decision-makingImplement field tours to collect feedback from operators on potential industrial issues, and to stay informed of production flows and other changes.Build, update and share industrial and supply chain monitoring dashboards with the General Manager, Industrial Director, Supply Director and Finance Management DirectorParticipate in the development and monitoring of corrective action plans with these same directors
3. Management of issues and controls on SAP - 15% of the role
Ensure the reliability of data entered and extracted in SAP - Particularly ensure the accuracy of production-related data on SAP during ERP implementation and when creating new items. To ensure the calculated PRD is correct.Identify, handle and resolve anomalies or discrepancies detected in the systemTrain and support internal users on SAP best practicesParticipate in the continuous improvement of SAP processes related to industrial managementParticipate in the optimisation of the company’s management information systems and in the management of the system’s master data with support to field teams.
4. Closing, variance monitoring and group reporting - 35% of the role
Carry out monthly and annual closings (stocks, provisions, inventories…)
Analyse and explain variances between actuals, budget and forecastsPrepare and transmit industrial reports to the group and managementEnsure the reliability and compliance of transmitted dataParticipate in the preparation of budgets, annual revisions and long-term plans for the industrial partParticipate in internal and external audits. Follow up and implement recommendations
Your profile
3 to 5 years minimum experience in an industrial management control and/or continuous improvement role (BUT we would be willing to give a chance to a recent HEG graduate)
Excellent mastery of Excel
SAP knowledge is a plus
Curiosity and appetite for industrial challenges
Good interpersonal skills, personable
You already live in the Fribourg region
