Role:
In your role, you stand at the forefront of the Swiss ICT market in the areas of datacentres, virtualisation, and digital workplace.
Responsibilities:
You manage the IT infrastructure of customers and ensure the availability of services
You analyse error messages, identify problems, and organise the resolution of service interruptions
Within the scope of change management, you make system adjustments in the customers’ IT infrastructure
You develop solution proposals and decision bases based on recorded requirements
You examine the impact of new ICT components and provide recommendations considering the overall system
You assess, plan, and execute software updates and patches and subsequently check them
Partly, you work directly on site with the customer
Qualifications:
In this role, you have a structured, precise, and reliable working style
Apprenticeship as an IT specialist and further education in the field of computer science (university of applied sciences or similar) with several years of experience
Solid background in converged infrastructure and enterprise storage
Experience with VMware vSphere and Windows Server 2016/2019
Knowledge of network communication and Dell Technologies products is an advantage
You are enthusiastic about future-oriented technologies and live this passion
With a quick grasp and independent approach, you efficiently lead customers and your team towards the goal
