IT Project Manager (m/f/d)

Complex IT projects require clear leadership, technical understanding, and a focus on the essentials. We are looking for an experienced individual who manages demanding projects from the initial idea to successful implementation, aligning business, IT, and external partners towards a common goal.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for demanding IT projects from initiation to productive launch
Management of project goals, budget, resources, schedules, quality, and risks
Establishment of clear project structures and transparent decision-making processes
Leadership of interdisciplinary project teams from business, IT, and external specialists
Analysis of complex requirements and translation into feasible project solutions
Facilitation of workshops with specialist departments and technical stakeholders
Coordination of service providers, technology partners, and other project participants
Selection of appropriate project methodologies depending on project type and environment
Use of HERMES, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid project methods
Support of cloud, modern workplace, data, and automation initiatives
Management of digitalisation projects with high organisational and technical demands
Preparation of decision-making bases and management reports
Early identification of project risks and initiation of appropriate countermeasures
Development of project standards, templates, and governance models
Support of public procurement processes and IT tenders
Coordination of requirements, evaluations, and decision-making processes in the procurement environment
Ensuring a structured transition of project solutions into operational business
Qualifications:
Higher education or degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable field
Several years of experience in managing complex IT projects
Proven experience with cross-departmental project teams
Solid knowledge of modern IT landscapes and digital technologies
Good understanding of cloud, Microsoft 365, IT infrastructure, and cyber security
Experience with agile, classical, or hybrid project methods
Ideally certified in HERMES, IPMA, PMP, PRINCE2, or comparable
Experience in public procurement or interest in further developing this area
Understanding of ERP and business applications is an advantage
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Entrepreneurial mindset and high personal responsibility
Ability to act in a structured and solution-oriented manner even in complex project situations
Enjoyment of digitalisation, technology, and continuous development
