QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER 80-100% (M/F)
Your responsibilities
Quality system and controls
- Management and updating of the HACCP system and quality procedures, and verification of their application during daily control rounds;
- Conducting internal audits on various sites, stands, and restaurants;
- Supervision of site hygiene conditions, including cleaning-disinfection, pest control, and monitoring of associated corrective actions;
- Control of the cold chain, measuring equipment, cooling, and storage.
Products, raw materials and analyses
- Quality monitoring of suppliers and raw materials;
- Verification of finished product compliance (quality, weight, quantities);
- Organisation and monitoring of microbiological analyses and sampling plans, including sending samples to laboratories;
- Management of traceability, expiry dates and product labelling, as well as the development of information materials for customers (sales points, social networks, website).
Non-conformities and external relations
- Management of non-conformities, customer complaints and corrective actions, including product withdrawals and recalls if necessary;
- Preparation and monitoring of official inspections and external audits;
- Role as quality contact person with customers, suppliers and authorities.
Personnel, tools and documentation
- Training and raising staff awareness of good hygiene practices;
- Management and monitoring of quality control equipment and digital tools;
- Keeping quality statistics and monitoring tables up to date;
- Writing, updating and archiving procedures, forms and quality reports.
Communication and improvement
- Regular communication with management, with alerts in case of deviation, and informing internal teams about the quality status;
- Proposing continuous improvement opportunities.
Your profile
- Higher education in food technology, hygiene or culinary techniques
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a quality role, in the food industry or quality catering
- Good knowledge of HACCP principles, food safety risks and Swiss food legislation
- Familiarity with ISO 22000 and/or ISO 9001 standards
- Proven experience in internal audits, non-conformity management and preparation for official inspections
- Ability to train and unite teams around good hygiene practices
- Good writing skills and proficiency with digital quality monitoring tools
- Analytical mind, rigour and proactivity
- Autonomy, organisational skills and team spirit
- Comfortable communicating with diverse profiles (management, production, authorities)
- Excellent command of French, good knowledge of English is a plus
- Driving licence essential
