Injection Moulding Technician / Injection Setter
Main tasks:
- Assemble / disassemble moulds on presses including connections of cooling circuits
- Set up and start production equipment according to current setting instructions
- Control production according to the process sheets
- Program robots and pick-and-place machines
- Prepare the layout of workstations
- Train operators on presses
- Identify and provide solutions to problems encountered in production
- Apply and comply with work processes and procedures (Medical)
- Write, edit and modify setting cards
- Write intervention requests (tooling and equipment maintenance). Perform first-level maintenance
Profile:
- Federal VET Diploma as a Technical Agent for Synthetic Materials and/or equivalent training
- Proven experience of 5 years as a setter in a medical environment
- Excellent mastery of injection processes, perfect knowledge of equipment and machines related to plastic injection (Arburg, Netstal, Engel) as well as very good mechanical knowledge
- Meticulous, reliable and responsible, results-oriented
- Autonomy, rigour and ability to work in a team (shift work)
- Good visual acuity (visual inspection) and good physical condition
- Knowledge of an ERP system and Microsoft Office
- Working language in French and ability to communicate in English
