Recruitment Consultant for Academic Work Geneva!
About the role
Don't leave fit to chance!
At Academic Work, we are the experts in the early career professional market, with a clear ambition: to connect talents with the companies that will make their success.
For over 15 years, we have been deploying our expertise throughout Switzerland, making us a preferred partner for our clients. Today, our Geneva office needs temporary support and that is why we are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team for a period of 4 months, potentially extendable.
Our office is a unique blend of dynamism, competition, ambition and good humour, where every member plays an essential role. What sets us apart? A strong corporate culture, uncompromising results orientation, impeccably smooth processes, and a sincere commitment to our candidates and clients.
Ready to take on the challenge?
Tasks
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be the conductor of your processes, from gathering client needs to supporting your candidates on assignment. Specifically, your daily routine will revolve around these tasks:
- Strategy & client advice: liaise directly with our clients (in tandem with the Account Manager) to understand their needs. Far from being a mere executor, you take on an expert role to challenge and guide them towards the best acquisition strategy.
- Copywriting & attraction: write immersive, transparent and targeted job adverts. Gone is the purely corporate jargon: you speak the language of our candidates to stand out and attract the best talents.
- Assessment & selection: conduct interviews and evaluate candidates with the rigour of our standards, relying on our scientific recruitment methods. You will become an expert in analysing our psychometric and cognitive tests to identify true potential beyond the simple CV.
- Closing & negotiation: prepare complete dossiers and defend your profiles to clients with conviction. You will use the scientific data from your assessments as leverage to convince your clients to bet on potential, while expertly handling negotiations (salary, conditions).
- Onboarding & partnership: ensure impeccable administrative follow-up (contracts, permits, certificates, etc.). On the ground, you become the career partner of your consultants, with the right balance of firmness and kindness to maintain lasting relationships.
Your profile
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of professional experience, ideally in contact with clients (internships and student jobs).
- Languages: A perfect command of French (native language) as well as a very good level of English (minimum C1).
- A digital native at heart, you are autonomous and you handle IT tools with curiosity.
Your DNA (what will make you successful with us):
- You have a keen eye for detail. Where others drown in administration, you rely on clear processes to remain highly efficient.
- Driven by results, you know how to keep your course and your composure even when pressure rises, deadlines are tight or plans change at the last minute.
- You don’t just say "yes". You have the boldness to defend your convictions in front of a demanding client.
- Personality and logic test (30min)
- First contact by phone (10 minutes)
- Interview with the Head of People & Performance
- Interview with the Hiring Manager and the Branch Manager
- Welcome to our team!
