- Personnel, organisational, professional and financial management of the ward with 24 beds and around 25 employees, focusing on clear structures and binding framework conditions in everyday life
- Strategic planning and sustainable implementation of ward goals as well as future-oriented projects
- Design and further development of structures and processes to ensure professional, patient-centred and high-quality care
- Promotion of an open, appreciative and at the same time binding ward culture, characterised by clear communication, mutual respect and constructive collaboration
- Responsibility for securing and continuously developing the quality of care, support and treatment
- Active participation in team development processes and strengthening a positive team dynamic
- Recognising and specifically promoting the strengths of employees as well as accompanying development processes with clarity and commitment
- Forward-looking budget and resource management for optimal control of ward operations
- Ensuring the sustainable implementation and application of Lean Hospital principles
- Active participation in the ward management committee with shared responsibility and co-design in the spirit of Shared Governance
Competences and potential
- Diploma as a registered nurse HF, FH or with equivalent recognition
- Extensive professional experience in the specialist areas of vascular and thoracic surgery as well as ENT
- Several years of leadership experience in an acute hospital, ideally complemented by management training in healthcare
- Enthusiasm for versatile leadership tasks as well as the ability to communicate clearly, appreciatively and bindingly while acting in a solution- and result-oriented manner
- Negotiation skills, enthusiasm for innovation and the ability to inspire people and actively shape change
- Confident and winning appearance in interprofessional teams as well as pronounced networking and cooperation skills
- Enjoyment of a dynamic, varied and lively hospital everyday life
