Operational Controller & Financial Business Partner (100%) (m/f/d)

at an internationally successful Swiss SME trading and industrial company

As a finance specialist with an analytically strong, pragmatic and entrepreneurial mindset, you support the operational business, create decision-making bases for management and thus contribute to the further development and success of our client.

The role:

• You act as a Financial Business Partner for production, logistics and sales and analyse operational performance based on KPIs, margins, costs and variances
• You prepare business and profitability analyses, derive recommendations for action and support business acquisition
• You analyse cash and working capital and identify optimisation potentials
• You support the operational areas in budgeting and forecasting, analyse variances and further develop relevant control instruments
• You support the CFO with performance and business analyses of our client’s international companies, analyse financial and operational performance from a group perspective and prepare decision-making bases for management
• You participate in international projects and undertake at least one international trip annually as part of your role

Your profile:

• Degree (FH/UNI) in business administration, finance, controlling or a comparable completed qualification
• 2-4 years of experience in controlling & finance in an international industrial environment
• Experience or strong understanding of logistics, supply chain or sales is an advantage
• Good knowledge of controlling, profitability analyses, budgeting and forecasting as well as very good Excel skills; Power BI and SAP are advantageous
• Strong business understanding and a responsible working approach
• Very good German skills and good English skills; good French skills are an advantage
• Willingness to undertake occasional international travel
