Service Staff Cashier/ Canteen

We are continuously and on call looking for

Service staff/ cashier/ canteen with responsibility for canteens, cafeterias and restaurants starting immediately

Tasks:

• Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant

• Support the cooks in their customer service tasks according to the relevant guidelines

• Empty tray trolleys

• Report all detected defects to maintain safety in your own area

• Follow the prescribed use and maintenance of machines

• Pay attention to hygiene and cleanliness of work clothing

• Maintain impeccable personal hygiene (hair, hands, fingernails)

• Inform supervisors of the need to replenish drinks, products, small materials and goods for sale and preparation

Responsibilities

• Check the cash balance at the start of the shift

• Register consumptions and ensure they are paid for by guests

• Create a cash report at the end of the shift

• Ensure replenishment of drinks and goods intended for sale

• Keep sales and dispensing areas clean and inviting

• Ensure at all times the cleaning of tables and chairs in the restaurant, glasses, cups in the dishwasher, premises and service facilities as well as the floors of the dining room

• Ensure refilling and maintenance of vending machines

• Ensure that clearing areas are always sufficiently available to guests

• Comply with hygiene and food safety rules according to HACCP regulations

• Use materials and provided facilities according to the "Health and Safety at Work" guidelines

• Apply the provisions of the environmental management standard 14001 (waste sorting, correct use of chemical and maintenance products)

• Be available for other tasks not specified in the job description

Requirements

• Professional experience as Chef de Service, Chef de Rang, etc. in gastronomy is an advantage

• Very good knowledge of German

• Be hospitable and customer-oriented

• Have team spirit

• Be committed to the organisation

• Be honest and build trust

• Work efficiently and manage stress

• Be able to adapt to changes (responsibilities, tasks, new people)
