Finance and Projects Specialist (m/f/d)
Role:
Our ROCKEN partner is engaged in international health cooperation. In this role, you will take on diverse tasks in financial and project accounting and support international teams with financial queries.
Responsibilities:
Together with the team, you will manage financial and project accounting and be responsible for the posting, allocation, and reconciliation of donations.
In coordination with the project managers, you will prepare project accounts according to the funders' requirements and monitor the relevant deadlines.
You will carefully review the local project accounting and support the international teams with financial questions as well as the implementation of partner and funder requirements.
You will actively participate in interim and annual financial statements as well as internal and external audits.
For budgets, financial reports, and project accounts, you will develop practical standards and contribute your expertise to project teams.
Depending on your experience and interests, you will take on additional tasks at the interfaces with programmes and internal services.
Qualifications:
You complement a commercial or equivalent education with further training at least at the level of accounting clerk or are currently training for the Swiss federal diploma in finance and accounting.
You combine an interest in project accounting and enthusiasm for knowledge transfer with an independent, structured, and networked way of working as well as openness to a dynamic environment.
Excellent knowledge of Excel and a strong affinity for IT distinguish you.
Good German and English skills enable you to collaborate with teams in Lucerne and abroad.
Portuguese language skills as well as experience with Abacus, project accounting, or international cooperation are advantageous.
