Senior System Engineer (m/f/d)
This ROCKEN® partner is an owner-managed family business specialising in leasing, mobility solutions, and fleet management. It is characterised as a professional and reliable advisor. The company is independent of banks and brands.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance of the network and server infrastructure with Windows/Linux, SQL, Exchange, VMware, and Citrix
Optimisation and further development of the ICT infrastructure as well as independent implementation of smaller IT projects
1st and 2nd level support for systems and applications, especially Microsoft and industry software
Creation and maintenance of service and system documentation
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or several years of professional experience with broad IT all-rounder knowledge
Good knowledge of the Windows client and server environment as well as initial experience with VMware/Proxmox, Citrix/terminal servers, and Linux
Experience in monitoring private and public cloud environments; knowledge of Cisco and FortiGate is an advantage
Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
