Responsibilities:
You operate, maintain, and continuously develop our storage and backup infrastructure.
You are responsible for the administration and further development of our VMware virtualisation environment.
You ensure a reliable backup and recovery strategy with Veeam and regularly verify recoverability.
You analyse and resolve faults and support the optimisation of our system landscape.
You participate in infrastructure projects and actively contribute your ideas to the further development of our IT environment.
Qualifications:
You have completed training in computer science and have several years of experience as a system engineer.
You possess solid knowledge in the areas of storage, backup, and virtualisation.
You have practical experience with VMware vSphere as well as Veeam Backup & Replication.
You are familiar with common storage technologies, backup concepts, and disaster recovery scenarios.
You work independently, solution-oriented, and structured and enjoy taking on responsibility.
