Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

Role:
For an established service company, we are seeking an experienced individual to support the finance team in daily operations and financial statements. You can expect a versatile role with responsibility for general and subsidiary ledgers, reconciliations, payment transactions, and tax matters, as well as the opportunity to contribute to the development of processes and projects.
Responsibilities:
You manage the general and subsidiary ledgers of various companies and ensure correct posting of business transactions
You take on account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as well as open booking issues
You support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure timely preparation of financial data
You assist with VAT and other tax-related matters in a national and international context
Qualifications:
You have a commercial education and ideally further training in finance and accounting
You bring several years of professional experience in financial accounting,
You have good knowledge of accounting according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and IFRS as well as in the area of VAT
You communicate confidently in German and very well in English
