Hybrid IT landscapes place high demands on automation, availability, and security. This position is aimed at infrastructure specialists who want to combine classic system technology with cloud engineering and automation and technologically advance complex customer environments.
Responsibilities:
Engineering and operation of hybrid IT infrastructures across cloud and on-premise environments
Further development of Azure-based services and Microsoft 365 platforms
Administration and optimisation of modern Windows client and server landscapes
Development of automated operational processes with PowerShell, Ansible, and GitLab
Building reusable automation and deployment workflows
Integration of Ansible AWX into existing operational and automation processes
Automation of service and operational procedures within ServiceNow
Support of central Windows services such as Active Directory, DHCP, and Group Policy
Management of endpoints, applications, and security policies with Intune
Further development of endpoint management and software deployment processes
Planning and technical implementation of new customer sites
Handling complex support and troubleshooting tasks at 2nd and 3rd level
Conducting structured root cause analyses and sustainable problem resolution
Participation in transformation projects around cloud, workplace, and infrastructure
Implementation of security, compliance, and hardening requirements
Documentation and continuous optimisation of technical platforms
Qualifications:
Solid professional experience in system engineering, cloud engineering, or IT infrastructure
Education or further training in computer science or comparable practical experience
Very good knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem
Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365
Extensive practical experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
Experience with Intune, endpoint management, and software deployment
Good knowledge of PowerShell
Interest in infrastructure automation and DevOps principles
Experience with Ansible, GitLab, or comparable automation platforms
Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL processes is an advantage
Ability to systematically analyse complex technical faults
High sense of responsibility and strong willingness to learn
Enjoyment of customer contact, consulting, and varied infrastructure projects
