Development Engineer Mechanics & Calculation (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- Design and development of mechanical systems and components
- Simulation and analysis of components and systems using ANSYS
- Creation of manufacturing drawings and technical specifications
- Collaboration with other departments such as electronics, software, and production
- Conducting tests and trials to validate components and systems
- Optimisation of existing systems and components
- Selection and evaluation of materials and manufacturing processes
- Compliance with standards and regulations in the field of mechanics
- Development and optimisation of plastic products
Qualifications:
- Completed degree or higher education in mechanical engineering & design or a comparable qualification
- Experience in the design and development of mechanical systems and components
- Knowledge of Solidworks and ANSYS
- Experience in conducting tests and trials to validate components and systems
- Knowledge of plastics and their processing
- Good German and English skills
- Strong team spirit and customer orientation
- Independent and reliable working style
