System Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the on-premises data centre infrastructure including server, storage, backup, and VMware ESXi environments
Monitoring, maintenance, and performance optimisation of the virtualised infrastructure
Planning and implementation of infrastructure expansions and procurements with a focus on efficiency and scalability
Design and optimisation of the Azure architecture and cloud services
Leading participation in IT projects as well as support in 2nd and 3rd level support
Qualifications:
Completed IT training with continuous further education and solid know-how in IT system landscapes and server architectures, especially Cisco UCS
Extensive experience in the administration of storage solutions, especially NetApp
Sound knowledge in operating backup solutions on-premises and for Microsoft 365, for example Veeam
Good knowledge of Azure, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
Solid experience with server virtualisation and Group Policy Management (GPO)
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
