Role:
Do you want to apply your expertise in international export control and actively shape regulatory processes? In this position, you ensure compliance with national and international trade regulations, advise various departments, and support the further development of digital compliance solutions.
Responsibilities:
You manage export licences for Switzerland and the USA and ensure their correct administration.
You support purchasing, sales, and logistics with export control legal questions and the implementation of regulatory requirements.
You are responsible for reviewing and securing technical information through appropriate access and control mechanisms.
You further develop internal policies and manuals and convey relevant requirements in training sessions.
You analyse export control data, identify discrepancies, and create meaningful reports.
You optimise existing compliance processes and support the implementation of professional requirements in IT systems.
Qualifications:
You have a completed degree or comparable advanced training in foreign trade, business law, or customs.
You bring several years of professional experience in export control or trade compliance, preferably from an internationally active industrial company.
You are familiar with Swiss export control legislation as well as the US regulations ITAR and EAR.
You have experience in goods classification, licensing, and cooperation with authorities, especially SECO.
You are familiar with data analysis and common IT applications and have already further developed control processes; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
You convince with analytical thinking, assertiveness, communication skills, as well as an independent, structured, and cooperative working style.
You are fluent in German and have at least C1 level English.
