Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Development of robust software architectures for networked embedded systems with high demands on performance and security.
Analysis of technical requirements and translation into scalable system and communication concepts.
Development of hardware-near components with C/C++ and Python for Linux-based platforms.
Integration and optimisation of network functions on various protocol and system levels.
Implementation of security-by-design with topics such as Secure Boot, TPM, Hardening and Trusted Execution.
Qualifications:
Higher education in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable technical qualification.
Several years of experience in embedded or systems software development with C/C++ and ideally Python.
Solid knowledge of Linux, network programming, TCP/IP and low-level communication.
Experience with security mechanisms for embedded devices, for example PKI, Secure Boot or Hardware Security Modules.
Analytical and solution-oriented personality with enthusiasm for complex technical issues as well as good German or English skills.
