Recovery Room Nurse (PACU) M/F

As part of temporary and/or permanent assignments within a renowned hospital in the canton of Vaud, we are looking for a:

Your mission

• Ensure monitoring and care of patients during the immediate post-operative period.
• Assess the clinical condition of patients upon their arrival in the recovery room.
• Guarantee patient safety and provide continuous monitoring of vital signs.
• Early detection of any post-anaesthetic or surgical complications and implement appropriate measures.
• Administer prescribed treatments and manage pain effectively.
• Work closely with anaesthetists, surgeons, and care teams.
• Ensure reliable and complete handover of information to care units.

Your profile

• Nursing diploma recognised in Switzerland or recognition issued by the Swiss Red Cross (SRC) obtained or in progress.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting, ideally in recovery room, continuous care, intensive care, or operating theatre.
• Excellent knowledge of post-operative monitoring and emergency care.
• Ability to manage complex situations calmly and professionally.
• Sense of responsibility, rigour, and team spirit.
• Good command of the French language, both spoken and written.
