What we will achieve together
As an Operations Manager, Drinking Water/Gas, you ensure the maintenance, servicing and operation of the gas distribution network as well as related facilities, to guarantee their proper functioning. The Water Gas Operations Unit is tasked with ensuring the supply of quality natural gas and biomethane. It optimally ensures operational continuity, maintenance, renewal and development of the gas network and facilities (PDC, Biogas, Vcool, CNG, Storage…) as well as maintenance of the drinking water network.

Within the scope of your role, you will be specifically responsible for:
- Creating preventive maintenance plans for network installations;
- Carrying out manoeuvres on the network according to current procedures on site;
- Performing degassing and gas charging of the network and internal installations;
- Conducting routine repairs on network installations;
- Implementing gas compliance measures and corrective actions on network elements.
Your personality and skills
You possess an analytical mind and the ability to find solutions in unforeseen situations. Methodical and detail-oriented, you have a strong team spirit and good communication skills. You know how to work independently and maintain effective dialogue with your superiors. You are open to continuous training in the field of gas distribution. Technically, you have knowledge of gas distribution networks and maintenance of facilities and installations. You are proficient with common office software and able to write intervention reports. You can identify the various components of the gas network and perform tasks related to the maintenance plan.
Excellent physical condition is required, as work may be carried out in difficult conditions, and you will be required to carry a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
This position involves an on-call service with a 30-minute response time and possible interventions outside normal working hours.
Your academic background:
You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a sanitary installer, locksmith, mechanic or an equivalent qualification. You have or are willing to obtain the SVGW certificate for certified gas installer.
A category B driving licence is required.
