Role:

As a Workplace & Infrastructure Engineer, you accompany customers on the journey from grown server landscapes to a modern workplace in the cloud. You take on the technical leadership and help decide what the environment will look like in the future. Your toolbox ranges from Microsoft 365 (M365) through Entra ID to classic Windows infrastructures. Instead of routine, you can expect changing projects and a lot of direct exchange with customers. If you like taking responsibility and explaining technology clearly, you will find plenty of scope for design here.

Responsibilities:

• You lead migrations to hybrid or pure cloud platforms and safely guide customer environments into the new architecture.

• For client lifecycle projects, you rely on Intune and Autopilot and ensure seamless endpoint management.

• You administer M365 with Exchange Online and Teams and continuously expand identities and security policies.

• Furthermore, you keep Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid setups stable and drive network, backup, and security initiatives forward.

• You get to know new customers during as-is analyses, analyse their systems, and document the results clearly.

• Additionally, you are regularly on-site, personally support existing customers, and assist with demanding cases in 2nd and 3rd level support.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience as an engineer in the Microsoft environment distinguish you.

• You know the Microsoft cloud with Entra ID and Azure in depth and feel at home in Active Directory and Windows Server environments.

• You gain extra points with experience in Autopilot, Microsoft Security, Fortinet or Sophos, as well as know-how in backup solutions and enterprise hardware for servers, storage, and networks.

• Ideally, you know the project business of an IT service provider and have routine in analysing and documenting infrastructures.

• You approach tasks in a structured way, think in solutions, and organise yourself largely independently.

• Moreover, you appreciate personal contact with customers and hold a category B driving licence, as a company vehicle is available to you.
