IT infrastructure forms the backbone of every company, and as a System Engineer Microsoft 365 you take responsibility for this. You operate between cloud technologies, network infrastructure and security solutions, ensuring stable and secure operations. As a technical contact point, you are a valued person of contact for colleagues and work closely with external IT partners. The role offers variety between operational day-to-day business and exciting digitalisation projects.
Responsibilities:
You administer and manage the Microsoft 365 environment including Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online and Active Directory and take on identity and access management
Endpoint, security, backup and virtualisation solutions are within your area of responsibility, in close coordination with external IT partners
Together with the team, you ensure the operation and further development of the network infrastructure based on Cisco technologies
You contribute your know-how to infrastructure, digitalisation and technology projects and participate in the further development of IT processes and the service management platform
In 2nd level support, you analyse and resolve faults, assist employees with technical questions and coordinate complex issues in 3rd level support with external partners
Additionally, you create and maintain technical documentation and occasionally take on duties in hotline, support and on-call service
Qualifications:
You have completed training in computer science or a comparable qualification and bring at least three years of experience in system technology or system engineering
You are well versed in the Microsoft environment and have good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune and Exchange Online
Experience in client and endpoint management is part of your skill set, ideally complemented by knowledge of VMware, Veeam and network technologies
You are familiar with Cisco network technologies or motivated to develop further in this area
IT security topics such as Microsoft Defender or comparable solutions interest you, and you follow current developments with curiosity
Furthermore, you are characterised by analytical thinking, a structured way of working and good German and English skills
