Role:

In this role, you design a secure and scalable cloud platform on which critical applications are operated stably and efficiently. You are responsible for the conception, implementation and continuous improvement of security architectures, policies and automations in the cloud. As a senior specialist, you analyse complex threat scenarios, derive appropriate protective measures and implement them technically robustly. You work closely with development and operations to ensure security-by-design, compliance requirements and reliable monitoring and incident response processes. In addition, you drive the introduction of modern cloud and security technologies and actively share your expertise in the form of guidelines, reviews and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• You build and operate secure CI/CD pipelines for WMS applications and ensure stable deployments.
• In this role, you secure Java applications, databases and container environments through dependency management, security scans and access controls.
• As a cloud security and platform engineer, you implement security measures for IT/OT interfaces such as OPC-UA and MQTT.
• You are responsible for vulnerability management, monitoring and incident response in intralogistics systems.
• In this role, you work closely with development, product management, customer support and the central security team to optimise secure warehouse processes.
• You support compliance activities, automate compliance checks and continuously improve security and deployment processes through clear documentation.

Qualifications:

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on IT/OT security.
• Alternatively, you have 1-2 years of practical experience in DevOps, WMS or intralogistics environments.
• You possess solid basic knowledge in Java/Spring Boot, relational databases as well as operating systems (Linux, Cloud, Windows Server).
• You are interested in security topics such as secure coding, identity & access management (IAM) and OT network security.
• Analytical thinking and enjoyment of working in agile, interdisciplinary teams characterise you.
• You communicate confidently in German and English.
