Rotating Welcomer Receptionist at 100% (availability to work with staggered hours during the week and at weekends)

The Ibis hotel in Thielle, a franchise of the Accor group, is a superior two-star hotel located 5 minutes from Neuchâtel and 20 minutes from Bern. The hotel is situated near the motorway between Neuchâtel and Biel. It comprises 60 rooms, a terrace, a bar, and two meeting rooms. The Ibis hotel offers its guests all the necessary equipment for a pleasant stay.

To complete our Front Office team, we are looking for a:

Your main duties:

• Welcome guests and manage their stay (check-in / check-out)
• Ensure an excellent level of service and customer satisfaction
• Handle telephone calls and respond to information requests
• Make and follow up on reservations
• Carry out administrative tasks related to reception
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond proactively
• Communicate important information to the various hotel departments
• Advise guests to contribute to a quality stay
• Actively participate in customer loyalty

Versatility – other duties:

• Breakfast service
• Fast food service
• Bar service
• Clearing and maintaining cleanliness of areas

Profile sought:

• Excellent presentation and strong customer service sense
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and service quality excellence
• Native French speaker and fluent English essential
• German proficiency is an additional asset
• Required hotel experience in a similar reception role
• Good command of OPERA software
• High discretion and strict respect for confidentiality
• Excellent organisational skills, autonomy and versatility
• Establishment difficult to access by public transport: personal vehicle and driving licence essential
