Finance and Payroll Specialist (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF 89,000 - 100,000Role:
Do you want to independently manage a finance department while shaping a varied range of tasks? In this role, you take professional responsibility for the financial accounting and oversee all important processes up to the periodic financial statements. After thorough training, you will expand your area of responsibility to include payroll, thereby taking on a central function within the commercial department.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the entire financial accounting and ensure correct and timely processing
You prepare monthly and annual financial statements and handle reconciliations, accruals, and closing entries
You manage the accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger and coordinate the relevant processes
You prepare the required VAT returns and ensure their correct handling
You take over the monthly payroll processing and ensure reliable payroll management
You process payroll-related changes as well as employee entries and exits and handle the corresponding administrative processes
You ensure the handling of social insurances, withholding tax, and other payroll-related matters
You prepare year-end declarations and other documents related to payroll
Qualifications:
You have a commercial education and have further trained in finance and accounting, ideally with a federal professional certificate
You bring several years of professional experience in finance and accounting and have independently managed accounting up to the financial statement
You have solid knowledge in financial accounting, financial statements, and VAT matters
You have practical experience in Swiss payroll and are familiar with social insurances and withholding tax
You work confidently with ERP and financial systems and have good Excel skills
You communicate confidently in German and present yourself professionally to internal and external contacts
