Context

You will join the IT Infrastructure team of one of our clients to take charge of the administration and evolution of the Windows system environment within a hybrid on-premise / Microsoft cloud infrastructure. The company is continuing its modernisation towards cloud services (Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft 365) and securing its system foundation.

We are looking for a profile with proven experience in Active Directory environments of at least 300 users. You are the N3 technical referent for your scope and work closely with the security, network, and international IT teams of the group.

Main Responsibilities

Active Directory & Identity

• Administration and operational maintenance of Active Directory (GPO, OU, sites & services, replication, DHCP, DNS)

• User and group lifecycle management (creation, modification, deactivation)

• Analysis of application access requests and implementation of rights in various systems (security groups, delegations, NTFS)

• Participation in the AD on-prem / Microsoft Entra ID convergence strategy (Azure AD Connect, hybrid synchronization)

• Redesign and optimisation of GPOs according to environment changes

Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)

• Administration of the Entra ID directory: users, groups, Conditional Access

• Management of hybrid authentication (SSO, MFA, ADFS, Azure AD Connect)

• Management of certificates and Microsoft PKI infrastructure

• Monitoring and remediation of identity-related security alerts

File Services & Cloud Migration

• Administration of file servers (DFS, quotas, NTFS/Share permissions)

• Management of file data migration to the cloud (Azure Files, SharePoint) with implementation of two-factor authentication (MFA)

• Documentation and optimisation of the share directory structure

Operations & Monitoring

• Supervision of the system infrastructure using existing monitoring tools; tracking and handling alerts

• Management of system and application updates (patch management) within the Windows Server scope

• Implementation of changes respecting ITIL processes (change management, incident management)

• Contribution to the development and maintenance of the CMDB

Security

• Implementation of security evolutions and controls defined by the security team (hardening, audit, Kerberos, LDAP signing)

• Conducting periodic security checks on the system scope

VMware (basic knowledge)

• Daily management of virtual machines (creation, snapshots, monitoring)

• Collaboration with the infrastructure team for sizing and provisioning needs

Cross-functional

• N3 support for incidents and requests related to the Windows system environment

• Rigorous writing and updating of technical documentation (procedures, diagrams, runbooks)

• Communication and coordination with technical partners (suppliers, security, international IT teams)

• Participation in infrastructure evolution projects (migrations, redesigns, deployments)

Required Skills

Essential

• Active Directory: GPO, DNS, DHCP, replication, sites & services - proven mastery in environments of at least 300 users

• Microsoft Entra ID: administration, Conditional Access, SSO, MFA, Azure AD Connect

• File Services: DFS, NTFS permissions, share management

• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022: installation, configuration, troubleshooting

• PowerShell: administration and automation scripting (AD, reporting, recurring tasks)

• PKI: management of Microsoft certificates, ADFS

Desirable

• SCCM / MECM: update management, OS deployment (Task Sequences)

• VMware vSphere: basic operations (VM lifecycle, vCenter)

• ITIL knowledge (incident, change, CMDB management)

• Experience migrating File Services to Azure Files / SharePoint

Soft skills
