As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you take technical responsibility for a modern cloud platform based on Microsoft Azure. Operation, further development, and security are in your hands. Automation is not a sideline but your daily toolbox. You can expect a position with plenty of creative freedom and short decision-making paths.
Responsibilities:
You plan, implement, and operate cloud infrastructures with virtual machines, storage, networking, and identity & access management
You automate deployments and recurring processes with PowerShell, Azure Automation, and comparable tools
Furthermore, you manage integrations and interfaces between cloud services and other company systems
You analyse complex faults in the cloud environment in 2nd level support
Additionally, you implement monitoring and security concepts, for example with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
You also keep technical documentation and architecture overviews up to date
Qualifications:
You have completed training or studies in computer science, such as HF or FH
Several years of experience in operating and administering cloud environments distinguish you
You have in-depth knowledge of Entra ID, IAM, networking, storage, as well as security & compliance
Automation and Infrastructure as Code are part of your daily routine
Furthermore, you have experience with monitoring, logging, as well as APIs and integration services
You work in a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented manner and communicate confidently in German; English comes easily to you in a technical environment
