Modern Workplace Consultant (m/f/d)
Financial planning, tax policy and human resources – our Rocken partner is responsible for central cross-sectional tasks in public administration. With around 1200 employees, they ensure a sustainable state budget and a competitive tax climate. Their expertise includes budgeting, accounting, procurement, IT and strategic controlling. Do you combine technical know-how with a feel for people and digital working methods? In this role, you develop clear concepts for a modern digital workplace from complex requirements. You bring together cloud technologies, information management and user-friendliness and accompany changes from the initial idea to successful implementation.
Responsibilities:
Development and further design of a future-proof modern workplace landscape based on Microsoft 365
Design of intuitive collaboration and information solutions with SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive
Creation of comprehensible storage and information structures including metadata, lifecycle and access rights
Translation of professional needs into scalable technical concepts and actionable roadmaps
Consulting of specialists and managers on collaboration, information architecture and efficient digital cooperation
Planning and support of implementation projects, migrations and organisational changes
Conducting interactive workshops, architecture discussions and user training
Promoting user acceptance through target group-oriented communication, enablement and change support
Ensuring professional service operations through structured incident, problem and change processes
Analysis of complex error patterns and coordination of sustainable solutions in 2nd and 3rd level support
Technical management of external implementation partners as well as quality, deadline and technical result checks
Further development of governance models, operating guidelines, service descriptions and architecture standards
Leading technical sub-projects and coordinating involved stakeholders
Identifying potentials for Power Platform, workflow automation and AI-supported productivity with Microsoft 365 Copilot
Qualifications:
Solid education or comparable practical experience in computer science, business informatics or a related field
Several years of experience with Microsoft 365 and designing digital work environments
Very good knowledge of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive
Understanding of information architecture, permission management, Microsoft Entra ID and cloud governance
Experience in requirements analysis, solution consulting and accompanying IT change projects
Know-how in migrations, service processes and sustainable resolution of technical problems
Experience in moderating workshops and communicating technical matters appropriately to the audience
Ability to combine technical, organisational and security-related requirements into a coherent solution
Affinity for automation, low-code approaches and AI-supported functions in the Microsoft ecosystem
Ideally experience with ITIL, Microsoft certifications or managing external service providers
Strong communication skills, initiative and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
Structured, analytical and pragmatic approach with a focus on sustainable results
