You combine strategic responsibility with daily technical involvement: you actively manage and develop network, firewall, physical and virtual servers, as well as the Microsoft cloud and ensure their stable operation.
From everyday support cases to complex disruptions, you stay technically close to the systems and work in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support.
You further develop the IT strategy in line with the overall strategy of the MSW and translate it into concrete projects. You lead IT projects and are also responsible for the IT budget.
You establish and optimise suitable processes for IT security, data protection, and cyber resilience. At the same time, you advise school management and specialist departments on technical and strategic issues.
You lead an IT employee both professionally and personally, coordinate external IT service providers and partners, and ensure targeted collaboration.
Qualifications:
You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ system technology / platform development with further education at HF/FH level or have an equivalent qualification and several years of professional experience.
You are familiar with modern infrastructure environments from solid practical experience, especially Windows and Linux servers, virtualisation, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
In network architecture, you have in-depth knowledge of routing, switching, as well as firewall/security and also bring several years of experience in leading IT projects.
Initial leadership or project management experience enables you to lead a small team in a partnership-based and goal-oriented manner. At the same time, you are ready to work operationally every day despite conceptual responsibility.
You present yourself as communicative and service-oriented and keep an overview even under high workload. Fluent written and spoken German is required.
