Hydropower is the backbone of Swiss energy supply. In this key role, you are the operational spearhead in the modernisation of complex hydromechanical systems. You take on the technical responsibility from the concept phase to on-site commissioning. Your impact: You ensure directly that critical infrastructures deliver efficient, safe, and sustainable green electricity for decades.

• Technical project management: Independent control of projects in the field of hydromechanical assemblies with a focus on oil and water hydraulics as well as intelligent sensor technology.

• Engineering & system design: Creation of plant-specific functional and control schematics as well as comprehensive technical documentation for assembly and operation.

• Quality assurance & procurement: Timely material procurement and execution of factory acceptance tests (FAT/SAT) at international suppliers and in the factory.

• On-site commissioning: Accompanying the critical phase - you successfully commission the hydromechanical systems at power plant construction sites in Switzerland (travel share up to 50%).

• Interface competence: Active interface management between project management, end customers, suppliers, and internal specialist departments.

• Solid foundation: Mechanical basic training (e.g. polymechanic, designer) combined with further education as a mechanical engineer FH, technician HF or a comparable qualification (Bachelor/Master).

• Hydraulics expertise: Proven professional experience in plant engineering or an industrial environment with a deep understanding of oil and/or water hydraulics.

• Practical orientation & willingness to travel: Enjoyment of the combination of office engineering and on-site assignments (approx. 50% within Switzerland).

• Language proficiency: Business fluent German (C1) for work on Swiss construction sites as well as very good English (B2). French or Italian skills are a plus.

• Personality: Independent, structured working style, high initiative and strong communication skills.
