Practical Trainer in Nursing

University Clinic for Hand and Plastic Surgery University Clinics for Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases, Head and Neck Surgery and University Clinic for Skull, Jaw and Facial Surgery University Clinic for Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology On the interdisciplinary surgical ward, which belongs to the medical area of head, musculoskeletal system and ageing, patients from the specialties of hand and plastic surgery, skull, jaw and facial surgery as well as orthopaedics and traumatology are treated.

What to expect

• You impart professional action competencies and ensure the learning process support of a group of nursing trainees (secondary level II and tertiary level) in clinical practice
• Together with a group of trainees, you ensure the care and support of a group of patients, including taking over nursing services that cannot be performed independently by the trainees
• You plan and organise the training and competence-appropriate deployment of a group of trainees in clinical practice in cooperation with the person responsible for nursing education and the line management
• You ensure the recording, control and documentation of the learning process of a group of trainees and assess competence development and achievement

What you bring

• Qualified nurse, Dipl. HF or BScN
• Professional experience in acute care
• Experience as a vocational trainer with a completed diploma course
• Preferably you have a professional further education in nursing, an SVEB certificate as a practical trainer or an equivalent qualification in adult education
