What will you be responsible for?

• Manage the operational running of the ambulatory surgery centre (day clinic and endoscopy activity)
• Plan and optimise patient flows and scheduling with an efficiency focus
• Supervise, coordinate and unite a multidisciplinary team (approx. 21 FTE)
• Oversee the integration, supervision and training of staff and students
• Ensure quality, safety and continuity of care throughout the patient pathway
• Participate in the development and strategic direction of ambulatory activity
• Anticipate activity changes and propose organisational adaptations
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and manage performance indicators
• Promote collaboration with specialist doctors and anaesthetists as well as all accredited doctors
  
• Collaborate in managing certification and quality audit follow-ups and contribute to institutional projects
• Apply directives and promote institutional projects
• Ensure effective communication upwards, downwards and across with all partners

Who will you work with?

• In the Day Clinic, our team includes 10 nurses and 1 nursing assistant in endoscopy and ambulatory service. It is a supportive, versatile, always smiling and dynamic team. The service’s watchwords are "Mutual support, empathy and indulgence".

• In Interventional, our team consists of 8 nurses and 4 technical assistants in endoscopy and ambulatory service. It is a supportive and dynamic team, experienced and always eager to develop new skills and activities. The service’s watchwords are "Good humour, rigour and treats".

What do we expect from you?

Essentials:

• Hold a diploma in nursing, operating theatre technician or an equivalent qualification, ideally complemented by management training (CAS, DAS or MAS)
• Have proven experience in team management within a hospital environment
• Possess significant experience in the operating theatre, ideally as a scrub nurse or circulating nurse, with a good understanding of surgical requirements
• Have a strong ability to structure, organise and prioritise in a demanding environment
