Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
As a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, you build IT infrastructures that run stably and scale cleanly. On-premises, hybrid, or completely in the cloud: you know the differences and choose the appropriate architecture. Windows Server and Linux are equally familiar territory for you. Automation is not a nice-to-have but your standard approach.
Responsibilities:
You plan, implement, and operate server and network infrastructures in on-premises and cloud scenarios.
You administer and optimise Windows and Linux server environments including patch and lifecycle management.
You manage virtualisation platforms and the underlying storage and compute resources in ongoing operations.
You design IT security measures such as hardening, backup concepts, and access control and implement them.
Furthermore, you analyse faults in 2nd and 3rd level support up to the root cause.
Additionally, you automate recurring processes with PowerShell or Bash and support the operation of monitoring solutions.
Qualifications:
You have completed IT training, for example as an IT specialist in platform development or system technology, or have comparable practical experience. A degree is not required.
You bring several years of experience in system administration, network technology, and infrastructure operations.
You have solid knowledge of Windows and/or Linux, including troubleshooting at the system level.
Virtualisation, server systems, and IT security are part of your technical toolkit.
Experience with containers, Kubernetes, or Microsoft Azure is a clear advantage.
Moreover, you work analytically and solution-oriented, communicate confidently in German, and can easily read technical documentation in English.
