Senior MS Modern Workplace Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
You take on a central technical role in designing and further developing modern Microsoft cloud and workplace solutions. You combine engineering, migration, security, and automation and support customers in implementing powerful and scalable ICT environments.
Responsibilities:
You plan, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
You design and realise cloud migration projects focusing on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
You provide solutions around Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services.
You analyse requirements and develop suitable solution concepts based on them.
You monitor ICT environments, analyse disruptions, and continuously optimise existing M365 and Azure solutions.
You ensure compliance with cloud security and compliance requirements and implement corresponding measures.
You automate and optimise workflows with PowerShell, Power Automate, and other Microsoft tools.
You document system configurations, technical changes, and relevant processes.
Qualifications:
You have completed training as an IT specialist and have several years of practical experience.
Ideally, you have higher vocational training in the ICT field, for example at HF or FH level.
You have solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
You have practical experience with Azure and Microsoft Entra ID as well as with security and compliance topics such as Conditional Access and MFA.
You have experience with PowerShell or a comparable scripting language.
Ideally, you are familiar with third-party systems and integrations in the Microsoft 365 and Azure environment.
You bring several years of experience in analysing ICT environments, developing solution concepts, and implementing ICT projects.
You communicate confidently, customer-oriented, and on equal terms with different contacts in German.
