Financial Accountant

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, within the Finance and Purchasing unit, you contribute to the maintenance and reliability of the company’s financial accounting.

You are notably responsible for the accounting monitoring of fixed assets, while participating in various general accounting activities.

In this capacity, your tasks will notably include:

• ensuring the accounting management of fixed assets, from their activation to their disposal
• guaranteeing the correct accounting and compliance of fixed assets
• monitoring assets in collaboration with the responsible parties and performing necessary checks
• participating in the accounting monitoring of investments and contributing to work related to investment control
• contributing to general accounting activities, including accounting entries, reconciliations and account controls
• actively participating in monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• preparing the elements necessary for audit work and responding to auditors’ requests
• contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls

• You hold the Federal Diploma of Specialist in Finance and Accounting, or an equivalent qualification.
• You have several years of experience in financial accounting, ideally within a large company.
• You have a good knowledge of fixed asset and investment accounting.
• You master general accounting principles and have good knowledge of VAT.
• You are comfortable with IT tools and ERP; good command of SAP FI/CO is a real asset.
• Rigorous and organised, you are capable of working independently while appreciating teamwork.
• Your analytical mind and ability to collaborate with different stakeholders allow you to ensure reliable monitoring of the files entrusted to you.
