Mandated by one of our clients, we are looking for a:
Experienced Buyer (M/F)
- Higher education in purchasing, supply chain, commerce or equivalent field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing role, ideally in an industrial watchmaking environment
- Proficiency with ERP tools, knowledge of Proconcept essential
- Knowledge of contractual aspects and commercial practices
- Mastery of negotiation techniques
- Analytical skills and ability to synthesise
- Rigour, organisational skills and stress resistance
- Good interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Analyse the needs of various departments and anticipate supplies, from common consumables to components and raw materials.
- Define and implement the best purchasing strategies to optimise costs, deadlines and supply conditions.
- Identify new partners, consult and compare suppliers, then participate in their selection and evaluation.
- Develop a trusting and long-term relationship with strategic suppliers.
- Conduct commercial and contractual negotiations, particularly regarding prices, deadlines, payment terms, quality and supplier commitments.
- Ensure the availability of materials, components and products essential for smooth production.
- Monitor supplier orders, anticipate possible delays and carry out necessary follow-ups.
- Manage and keep up to date the data related to items and purchasing conditions in the ERP.
- Track a portfolio of orders and ensure good visibility on supplies.
- Work closely with internal teams to identify optimisation opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing processes.
