Cyber Security Operations Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 120,000Our client is an established trading company with a broad product range and direct customer contact. Role:
You want to do more than just monitor cyber security; you want to actively contribute to recognising and sustainably reducing risks? In this role, you combine technical analysis, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and security operations.
You accompany audits and penetration tests, review technical findings, and support teams in prioritising and remedying vulnerabilities. At the same time, you analyse attack patterns and security incidents and develop appropriate detection and response measures together with the relevant departments.
Responsibilities:
You accompany security audits, penetration tests, and technical reviews and analyse the resulting findings.
You validate technical reports from bug bounty programmes and assess their actual risk.
You prioritise vulnerabilities based on risk and support the responsible teams in their remediation.
You conduct proactive threat-hunting activities and detect suspicious activities and attack patterns early.
You analyse complex findings and security risks in applications, interfaces, and infrastructures.
You derive concrete technical security measures from your analyses.
You support the security operations environment in analysing and following up on security incidents.
You contribute to the further development of detection and response processes.
You advise projects and teams on application security, vulnerability management, and technical cyber security risks.
Qualifications:
You have completed training or studies in computer science or a comparable qualification.
You have at least three years of practical experience in the cyber security field.
You possess broad knowledge in cyber security, IT infrastructures, and applications.
You are familiar with current threat situations and common attack techniques.
You are acquainted with security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, and MITRE ATT&CK.
You have practical experience with SIEM, EDR, NDR, or comparable security solutions.
You know the analysis, handling, and follow-up of security incidents, findings, and vulnerabilities from practice.
You work analytically, risk-aware, and solution-oriented.
You are willing to take on assignments as part of a 7x24 on-call service.
