Trust Accountant (80 - 100%)

To support our growth, we are looking for an Accounting & Payroll Collaborator at 80-100%, based in Geneva.

You will join a dynamic trust company with a diverse and varied clientele.

The position is mainly focused on accounting and payroll.

Your responsibilities

Accounting - approximately 70%

• Maintaining accounts for a diverse clientele
• Managing accounts of companies of various sizes and sectors
• Entry and verification of accounting documents
• Bank reconciliations and account checks
• Preparation of closures and financial statements
• Managing accounting files with varying levels of complexity
• Participation in tax and VAT declarations according to skills
• Regular contact with clients

Payroll - approximately 30%

• Complete payroll management for different clients
• Preparation of payslips and payroll-related documents
• Management of social insurances and various administrative obligations
• Monitoring employee entries and exits
• Responding to common questions from clients and employees

Your profile

• Proven experience in a Swiss trust company (minimum 3 years), with solid accounting practice
• Good knowledge of Swiss accounting
• Experience in managing payroll and social insurances
• Comfortable with varied and sometimes complex client files
• Good knowledge of English (minimum B2)
• Good command of IT tools; knowledge of Abacus and/or Winbiz highly appreciated
• Autonomous, organised, rigorous and solution-oriented person
• Ease in dealing with a diverse clientele
• Team spirit and desire to contribute to the development of a growing trust company
