Role:
Operating systems alone is not enough for you; you want to actively shape IT landscapes. As a Microsoft 365 System Engineer, you take on the technical leadership in projects around Microsoft 365 (M365), cloud, and security. Your clients benefit from your expertise when modernising their environments or migrating to the cloud. Many assignments take place directly at their premises. There you demonstrate what solid system technology can achieve.
Responsibilities:
During migrations, you transfer client environments to hybrid or fully cloud-based platforms and maintain technical leadership in client and workplace projects.
You are responsible for infrastructure, security, and cloud projects from initial planning to go-live.
Additionally, you maintain and further develop Exchange Online, Teams, Entra ID, and Microsoft security solutions.
You manage the complete client lifecycle with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and modern endpoint management.
Furthermore, you operate Active Directory, Windows Server, and hybrid environments and implement network and backup projects.
You also create current state analyses and documentation, assist with onboarding and operational takeovers, and provide support in 2nd and 3rd level support for special cases.
Qualifications:
Several years of experience as an engineer in the Microsoft ecosystem distinguish you.
You have solid knowledge in M365, Entra ID, and Azure. You are also confident with Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid setups.
Experience with Autopilot, Intune, and Microsoft Security as well as with Veeam, Sophos, Fortinet, or server, storage, and network hardware is desirable.
You are familiar with the daily routine of an IT service provider and ideally have already accompanied client projects.
Furthermore, you find it easy to analyse infrastructures and document them comprehensibly.
You work independently and with a clear plan, value personal contact with clients, and hold a category B driving licence for company car trips.
