IT Security Operations Specialist - Cyber Security & Incident Management (m/f/d)

Role:
Detect cyber threats, analyse security incidents, and protect IT systems - is that your thing? You don’t just want to react to security incidents but actively contribute to recognising security risks early and continuously improving cyber defence? For an established Swiss company, we are looking for an analytical and security-conscious individual who combines technical know-how with a strong interest in cyber security and actively supports secure IT operations.
Responsibilities:
You coordinate the operational day-to-day business in IT security and handle security-relevant requests, events, and incidents.
You analyse security events, identify potential cyber threats, and assess their impact on the IT infrastructure.
You initiate appropriate countermeasures and support the structured handling and resolution of security incidents.
You review existing IT security measures, analyse their effectiveness, and identify potential improvements.
You monitor current cyber threats, attack methods, and security developments as part of threat monitoring.
You collaborate with internal IT teams and support the continuous optimisation of operational IT security.
Qualifications:
Completed university or university of applied sciences degree in computer science, IT security, or a comparable technical field
At least 3 years of professional experience in IT operations, system administration, or software development
Interest in cyber security, security operations, and incident management; initial practical security experience is an advantage
Fluent German and solid English skills
