Responsibilities:
- You design, programme and commission PLC software solutions for industrial automation systems
- Together with customers and internal specialist departments, you create software concepts and specifications
- Your main task is programming PLC controls, mainly with Siemens S7/TIA Portal
- You integrate PLC systems into higher-level automation and control systems
- Testing, troubleshooting and optimisation of the PLC software are part of your daily tasks
- You work closely with interdisciplinary project teams, including electrical design and commissioning
- Additionally, you document the created software solutions in detail
Qualifications:
- You have a basic electrical engineering education as well as a degree as an electrical engineer or HF technician specialising in electrical engineering/automation
- You have solid knowledge in at least one programming language, e.g. Java, Python or C++
- Experience working with databases and SQL is part of your profile
- You are well versed in software design principles and methods
- You are familiar with software development tools such as Git, Jira and Eclipse
- Very good German and English skills complete your profile
