Mechanical Engineer Calculation (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF85,000 - 105,000Responsibilities:
- Performing strength calculations and simulations for mechanical components and systems using FEM methods
- Creating calculation models in ANSYS and evaluating the results
- Analysing and optimising components and systems with regard to their strength, stiffness and service life
- Developing innovative solutions to improve product quality and performance
- Supporting the preparation of technical documentation and presentations
- Close collaboration with the development, design and production departments
Qualifications:
- Completed degree or advanced training in mechanical engineering, aerospace or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in performing strength calculations and simulations in mechanical engineering using FEM methods
- Sound knowledge of ANSYS and experience in creating calculation models
- Good knowledge in mechanics, materials science and thermodynamics
- Independent working style, team spirit and strong communication skills
- Very good German and English skills
