Role:

You want to not only operate a cloud platform but actively shape it? This is exactly where your position as Cloud Security Engineer (Azure) comes in. In Microsoft Azure, you design structures where security and networking are considered from the outset. You combine architectural work and automation with a keen eye for operations. For other teams, you are the competent contact when things get technically challenging.

Responsibilities:

• You further develop zero-trust concepts and bring them into productive use together with landing zones and network designs.

• You continuously expand the cloud platform and ensure reliable operation.

• Furthermore, you implement security and compliance requirements, monitor them with Defender for Cloud, and manage permissions through identity concepts and role-based access control (RBAC).

• In platform engineering, you automate deployments with Terraform and scripting according to the principle of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• You design secure cloud architectures with particular attention to network segmentation and protection mechanisms.

• Additionally, you support specialist teams during onboarding and find sustainable answers to architectural questions with them.

Qualifications:

• A computer science education EFZ or a degree at HF/FH level forms your basis, alternatively a comparable qualification.

• You have several years of experience with Azure, ideally with a focus on security and networking.

• You have practically secured cloud platforms, especially in the areas of identity and access management (IAM), monitoring, compliance, and networking.

• Furthermore, you master Microsoft Defender as well as Azure security services and are familiar with processes around a Security Operations Center (SOC).

• You bring experience from cloud engineering or DevOps as well as routine with Infrastructure as Code and a solid understanding of modern operating models.

• Ideally, you can also present certifications such as Azure Administrator or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
