Role:
As Lead System Engineer Microsoft & Infrastructure, you ensure the stable operation and further development of modern enterprise IT infrastructures. You manage complex Windows, Citrix and virtualisation environments and continuously optimise existing systems. You contribute your expertise in Microsoft technologies, IT security and infrastructure projects. You analyse technical challenges, develop sustainable solutions and support internal as well as external partners.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring a powerful and stable IT operation through management, analysis and further development of complex enterprise system landscapes
Planning, implementation and optimisation of modern workplace and virtualisation solutions with a focus on efficient and secure user environments
Responsibility for central Microsoft and infrastructure services including monitoring, fault analysis, system improvements and technical advancement
Participation in the implementation of security standards, architectural projects and strategic IT initiatives for the sustainable modernisation of platforms
Support of specialist departments, IT teams and technology partners through technical expertise and active involvement in shaping future-oriented IT solutions
Qualifications:
Completed education in computer science (HF, FH or equivalent further training) as well as solid professional experience in the operation and engineering of enterprise IT environments
Very good knowledge of Microsoft technologies, especially Windows Server, client management, Microsoft 365 and modern infrastructure platforms
Experience with virtualisation, digital workplace solutions and IT security concepts as well as understanding of complex system architectures
Analytical and independent working style with strong problem-solving skills, sense of responsibility and enjoyment of challenging technical tasks
High service and team orientation as well as motivation to further develop existing solutions and actively use new technologies
