Head of Billing Unit M/F at 100%
The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is a leading intercantonal hospital, bringing together more than 2,500 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has over 350 acute care beds. Reporting to the Administration and Finance Directorate, we are looking for a·:
Head of Billing Unit M/F at 80%-100%
The main responsibilities of this position are
- Supervise and develop the billing team.
- Manage and oversee hospital billing activities.
- Ensure the quality and completeness of invoices as well as adherence to deadlines.
- Monitor billing processes and identify causes of delays or non-compliance.
- Coordinate activities between different sites and contacts across the two cantons.
- Work closely with medical, administrative, financial services and insurers.
- Follow up on rejections, corrections, disputes and complex cases until resolution.
- Implement and monitor performance and quality indicators.
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead process optimisation actions.
- Keep abreast of regulatory and tariff changes impacting hospital billing.
We require
- Experience in team management and change management.
- Proven managerial skills.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Higher education in management, finance, hospital administration or equivalent field.
- Confirmed experience in hospital billing or healthcare environment.
- Good knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system, insurance and main hospital tariff mechanisms.
- Ease in coordinating activities involving multiple sites and stakeholders.
- Strong sense of quality, rigour and respect for deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
