ETCS, ATO and digital information systems are changing how railways will be planned and operated in the future. At BLS, you actively shape this development and contribute your knowledge where railway operations, infrastructure, vehicles and digitalisation interact.
Together with internal and external experts, you develop projects, studies and solutions further, making an important contribution to the implementation of the ERTMS strategy of the Federal Office of Transport (BAV) and the digitalisation strategy of BLS Netz AG.

Project Manager ERTMS
What awaits you:
- Implementing the ERTMS strategy of the BAV and the digitalisation strategy of BLS Netz AG
- Leading and further developing projects, studies and simulations around automation/ATO and train control/ETCS
- Advancing topics in topology and data management as an important foundation for the digital railway
- Networking and coordinating internal and external experts and bringing together different requirements and interests
- Representing BLS in specialist committees and actively shaping collaboration with relevant stakeholders in rail infrastructure and operations
What you bring with you:
- Technical education at Bachelor or Master level or an equivalent qualification; business management training is an advantage
- Several years of project management experience in the railway sector
- Sound understanding of the interaction between railway operations, infrastructure, vehicles and digital information systems
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Analytical and networked thinking skills, strong communication skills as well as initiative and willingness to shape
