This is what you can look forward to.
An innovative working environment awaits you, where you can initiate major changes and thus contribute to the success of the SBB. Together with your team colleagues, you will develop solutions for current challenges and implement them as a team. Further training is also not neglected for your individual development. Attractive working conditions are important to us, even with irregular working hours. For this, you can enjoy free ski slopes during the week and organise your leisure time more flexibly. Night and weekend work is additionally compensated with us – for example, 16 francs per hour for Sunday work. You also receive time allowances. This means you have more free time than employees without night and weekend shifts. Our other benefits such as child allowances, free 2nd class GA and discounted travel abroad – also for the family – can be found on our website under " Benefits ".
This is what you can achieve.
- Together with the team, you carry out the demanding maintenance and renewal work as well as fault repairs on our overhead line systems.
- You take on the operational management for construction, maintenance and repair work on the overhead line systems.
- To economically ensure the reliability and safety of the overhead line systems, you professionally lay our contact wires and catenary wires. In doing so, you operate specialised working equipment of the overhead line assembly machines on the respective vehicles with lifting, pulling and crane functions.
- You professionally lead employees, manage work deployments and monitor the correct execution of the work as well as compliance with safety measures on the construction sites.
This is what you bring with you.
- For this exciting challenge, you bring a high level of resilience and great safety awareness. We also place great value on teamwork and an independent working style.
- You have a qualification certificate in the electrical or construction industry and have several years of experience in overhead line construction including switching authorisation and expertise.
- Good PC and user skills (MS Office, TUSP etc.) make your work easier. You have already demonstrated your experience in planning (AVOR 3) and implementation of construction sites.
- Irregular working hours and on-call duties do not bother you and you can communicate very well in German. Ideally, you have a driving licence for traction vehicles of category A40 or higher, as well as a category B driving licence.
