Specialist in Finance & Payroll Accounting in Bern (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF97,500 - 110,000Role:
For an established service company in the Basel region, we are looking for an experienced finance professional with a strong payroll focus. The role combines financial accounting, payroll processing and selected controlling and closing topics in a varied area of responsibility.
Your Perspective
Broad role between finance, payroll and administration
High level of personal responsibility in day-to-day business
Direct exchange with HR, management and internal specialist departments
Participation in financial closings and budgeting processes
Modern systems and increasingly digitalised workflows
Long-term perspective in a stable corporate environment
Responsibilities:
Independent execution of monthly payroll accounting
Collaboration in financial and asset accounting as well as invoicing
Support in quarterly and annual financial statements
Preparation of VAT returns and other financial reports
Preparation of audits and internal controls
Participation in budgeting and optimisation of finance and payroll processes
Qualifications:
Commercial training with further education in finance and accounting
Several years of experience in accounting and payroll
Good knowledge of the Swiss social security system
Very good knowledge of Abacus or comparable ERP/payroll systems
Confident use of Microsoft 365 and digital financial processes
Precise, independent and reliable working style with very good German language skills
